Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Front-End Focused with 11+ years of experience to design, implement, and operate reliable, scalable, and performant front-end infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate will combine deep SRE/DevOps expertise with a strong understanding of front-end systems, build processes, and web application performance. You will ensure high availability, fast deployments, and fault-tolerant front-end applications, while collaborating closely with product, front-end, and platform engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable front-end deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with front-end engineering teams to ensure reliable, high-performance builds and releases
• Monitor front-end application performance, availability, and error metrics in production
• Automate repetitive tasks, deployments, and operational workflows for front-end systems
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of front-end infrastructure
• Implement caching, load balancing, and performance optimization strategies
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) for front-end applications
• Manage containerized environments and orchestrations (Docker/Kubernetes) for front-end services
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for front-end outages
• Drive observability, logging, and alerting for front-end systems and dependencies
• Define and enforce SRE/DevOps best practices across front-end and platform teams
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across teams
• Evaluate and integrate modern DevOps tools, frameworks, and automation solutions

Skills & Knowledge

• Deep expertise in SRE, DevOps, and front-end infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on experience with front-end build tools, frameworks, and deployment pipelines
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and infrastructure automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Understanding of web performance optimization, caching, and load balancing
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/New Relic)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python/Bash/Node.js)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex front-end and platform issues in production
• Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and front-end delivery
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills to influence cross-team practices

Experience

• 11+ years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
• Proven experience designing and operating front-end focused infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Hands-on expertise with cloud-native architectures, containerized environments, and orchestration
• Experience monitoring, optimizing, and scaling front-end systems and web applications
• Track record of driving DevOps/SRE best practices and mentoring engineers
• Experience managing high-availability and fault-tolerant systems in production
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and incident response processes
• Demonstrated ability to work across teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment efficiency
